Carbonation Assessment

How much CO2 can your material bind? Standardised trials quantify uptake, potential and mineralogical transformation.

Our lab in Vienna tests a sample of your residue in standardised trials and reports the result as a clear go / no-go. Add-on trials cover grain size, your real gas stream, kinetics, leaching and use in construction.

Techno-Economic Screening

Your material binds CO2. Does a plant pay off at your site?

We run your lab results and site figures – together with public market and infrastructure data – through our techno-economic models and a thousand scenarios. You see what the project costs, when it pays off, what it removes and how likely it is to succeed, and options you might not have considered.

Demonstration trials & industrial projects

Our pre-industrial continuous plant Scallop runs your material through the full process at 100 kg/h – real plant data replace assumptions in your business case.

  • Demonstration trialsA material campaign at Scallop.
  • Industrial projectWe design and build the carbonation plant at your site, based on everything measured before.

MRV: proof for every tonne.

A carbonation plant earns on the tonnes it can prove. We are developing measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) for mineralisation – built on the same inline measurements and data model as our lab and plants.

In development: it starts with our own plants and extends to carbonation plants run by others as the market grows.

  • MeasureCO2 bound during operation, measured inline – not estimated after the fact.
  • VerifyEvery figure checked against secondary analyses of the carbonated material.
  • ReportData ready for carbon removal certificates and for compliance reporting such as the EU ETS.
